At JEAN PATRICE BOOK, we specialize in selling digital books that are delivered instantly after purchase. Because our products are digital downloads (such as PDF eBooks), all sales are final and we do not offer returns or refunds once a purchase has been completed.
Why We Do Not Offer Returns on Digital Books
To maintain fairness and protect our intellectual property, we have implemented a no-return policy for the following reasons:
1. Digital products cannot be damaged.
Unlike physical items, digital products such as downloadable PDF books cannot be physically damaged during shipping or handling. Once delivered, the product remains in the same condition as when it was purchased.
2. Multiple download access is provided.
Customers are able to download their purchased book multiple times. If the file is lost or accidentally deleted after the first or second download, you can simply download it again using the link provided after purchase.
3. Instant access means the product is immediately received.
Digital books are delivered instantly after payment, meaning customers receive the full product immediately. Because the content can be accessed right away, returns cannot be reversed the way they can with physical goods.
4. Protection of digital intellectual property.
Allowing refunds for downloadable content would make it possible for someone to purchase a book, download it, and then request a refund while still keeping the file. To protect the author’s work and maintain fair use, refunds are not permitted.
